This is a quilt that I made for a special fundraiser, using 24 fat quarters. I purchased a pre-selected group of 20 fat quarters in red, black, and white, and since I wanted this to be a UW-Madison Badger Quilt, I added 4 fat quarters of Wisconsin Badger fabric. The quilt pattern is called "Between Friends", and I got it from a book called "Happy Hour" by Atkinson Designs. Their patterns are very easy to follow, and the piecing went very quickly.
Not only was this quilt quick to piece together, but it was also quick to finish it on the Long Arm machine. Because the fabric used was so very busy with patterns, I chose a simple bubble type pattern for the overall quilting. I think it turned out very nice, and I know the person who won the bid on this quilt. She is very happy with her purchase, and can't wait to give this quilt to her son, (once they purchase a house!).
