Here is a quilt made during our Thursday night "PROJECT" night.  This quilt was made by Sue Kurth for her daughter/granddaughter.  We helped with the design, a 9 patch with pink flannel sashing.  I'm really liking how it all came together.  Great Job Sue!

It was loaded on the Long Arm for quilting.

I decided to use a large meandering pattern since it was so busy with 9 patches and many different fabrics.
I also decided to use variegated pink thread.

Cheryl Havlik brought A SPECIAL WALL HANGING SHE MADE OUT OF TIES! This was made for her husband Rich, and brought to us for Quilt Services.  She did a fantastic job, and what a special GIFT!

Here is a photo before quilting.
She decided she would like to have relatively small scale meandering using a dark green thread.

QUILTING DONE!

A CLOSE UP OF THE MEANDERING

I have not seen the binding on this quilt, perhaps she will share, but I've heard she used the pointed tips from the ties!
